CirKits SPC2 rev 1 mod
The SPC2-a solar power center circuit board should have resistor R16,
a 1 megohm 1/4 W part, added on the top of the board. R16 connects from
IC2 pin 1 to the side of R12 near the board edge (this connects to IC2 pin 3
on the underside of the board). This part adds positive feedback to the
low voltage disconnect circuit in order to reduce the time that the LVD
circuit takes to shut off the load. After adding R16, the low voltage
disconnect potentiometer (VR2) should be realigned for the desired LVD
shutoff voltage.
