DAS1 - 12 Volt 10 Amp Dark Activated Switch Kit
The DAS1 kit can be used to automatically turn on 12V lamps in the dark.
It has an on-board switch for selecting Off, Always On and On-at-Dark operation.
The DAS1 can control up to 10 Amps of 12V DC lighting, it also includes
two ultra-bright white LEDs for a low power self-contained light source.
The DAS1 is suitable for both permanently installed and portable lighting
systems.
It can be used for automatic and manual indoor lighting, external lighting
and portable lighting. The DAS1 is also a good choice for an automatic
12V LED Christmas light controller.
An external source of 12V DC power is required, suitable power sources include
a solar-charged battery, a line-powered DC power supply or an automotive or
marine power system.
The DAS1 is designed to operate in conjunction with the CirKits
SCC3 solar charge controller,
a 12V rechargeable battery and a photovoltaic (PV) panel.
The DAS1 can be used as a 10 amp low voltage disconnect (LVD) switch by
simply removing the CdS light detector and placing the circuit in Auto mode.
Controls and indicators include
An on-board Off/On/Auto (On-At-Dark) switch and
two ultra-bright white LEDs which operate in parallel with the external lamps.
The adjustable low voltage disconnect function is automatic.
